I am Coach Erling Johnsen, and I am driven by a passion for soccer and a joy in sharing that passion. With a background deeply rooted in the beautiful game, I bring several years of coaching experience to Smith County Soccer Academy.
My Journey:
My journey in soccer began as a player where I discovered the joy of the beautiful game. Transitioning to coaching allowed me to channel that passion into guiding young players towards their soccer ambitions.
Coaching Philosophy:
At the heart of my coaching philosophy is a belief in the holistic development of athletes. Beyond honing technical skills, athletic prowess and tactical understanding, I am dedicated to instilling values such as respect, integrity, ambition, and the importance of putting in genuine effort both on and off the field.
